Pudacuo National Park lies in the center of Three Parallel Rivers of Yunnan Protected Areas. At an elevation of 3500m to 4159m, this natural reserve is the core part of Three Parallel Rivers heritage.

Pudacuo National Park is the very first park to register as national park in China, some claim that it is even the first national park of China.

Pudacuo and Potatso are the same, the former is Tibetan and latter is mandarin.

Directions of Getting There


Daily shuttle bus departs from Shangrila at 09:30 for ¥30 CNY.

Rate starts at ¥180 per day for hiring a car.

¥80 one way and ¥150 return for hiring taxi.

The ticket includes admission and the sightseeing tour cart fee. You could hop on the tour van after you have gotten the ticket.
