Being the financial capital of China in Qing Dynasty, Ping Yao was well-retained in its traditional style of Han due to the neglect of the collapsing Qing Government. Ping Yao is a walled city situated 715km from west of Beijing, the capital of China. It is where the first bank in China established in Ming Dynasty to issue cheque, which was payable at over 100 bank branches. Ping Yao was listed as one of the UNESCO world cultural heritage of China in 1997 due to its traditional Imperial style and history.
